ABOUT US

BRC Heating & Plumbing was started in 2001 by Ben Rogers. Ben initially ran the company as a sole trader, but over the years the business has gradually expanded, thanks largely to word of mouth. In 2009 Ben took on his first apprentice, and in 2013 BRC became a limited company.

Today we are a team of 12, with seven experienced and qualified engineers, two apprentices, and three office-based staff. We have a small fleet of vans that you’ll see out and about in the local area, providing a wide range of heating and plumbing services to our customers.

We all take pride in our work, and every member of the team is continually undertaking training and professional development to make sure that we have the most up-to-date skills to go alongside our many years of experience.

At BRC the whole team is committed to providing our customers with a high-quality service – we may be a small local company, but we aim to compete with the best on professionalism and reliability.

MEET THE TEAM

  • Ben

    Company Founder & Senior Heating Engineer

    Ben has been working in the industry since 2001 - with a strong interest in system design and efficiency, Ben now divides his time between the many demands of running a business, and working on site whenever possible.

  • Lizzie

    Operations Manager

    Lizzie has been at BRC since 2007, and is usually found at the computer -  helping to keep things running smoothly, and occasionally answering the phone. Better at spreadsheets than plumbing.

  • Jack

    Lead Service Engineer

    Jack started his plumbing career with us in 2013 and is now our lead service engineer - working on gas, oil and renewables, as well as in the office preparing quotes.

  • Sam

    Lead Installation Engineer

    Working in the industry since 2001, Sam joined BRC in 2014 and is now our lead installer, working on system design and managing our installation projects. With a meticulous eye for detail, Sam is a firm favourite with customers.

  • Rob

    Senior Heating Engineer

    Rob's many years of experience have been invaluable to the BRC team since he joined us in 2015, having worked in the industry since 2005. Also known as The Aga Whisperer.

  • Becky

    Accounts Manager

    Becky brought her years of experience in accounts to BRC in 2016 after relocating to the area, and is kept busy making sure our books are in good order, and responding to customer calls & emails.

  • Jon

    Heating Engineer

    Joining BRC in 2018 with over a decade's experience in the plumbing industry, Jon divides his time between oil servicing, general plumbing, and installation jobs.

  • Sara

    Heating Engineer

    Since joining BRC in 2018, Sara has become an invaluable part of the team, dividing her time between plumbing & gas work out on site, and running our stock management system back at base.

  • Dan

    Heating Engineer

    Dan joined us in 2018, and since completing his qualifications in 2021 has been kept very busy working on a wide variety of servicing, breakdowns & installation jobs.

  • Claire

    Office Administrator

    Claire joined us in 2018, bringing her extensive experience in customer service and administration to the team - and has been busy ever since, keeping the engineers diaries in order whilst responding to customer calls and emails.

  • Harry

    Heating Technician

    Harry started with us in 2021 as an apprentice, and is now a qualified OFTEC registered heating technician, in the process of joining the Gas Safe register.

  • Samuel

    Apprentice Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician

    Samuel joined BRC as our newest apprentice in 2024, and divides his time between studying at Petroc college and working on site with the rest of the team, learning the skills of the trade.

We are approved installers for Worcester Bosch, GrantUK, EOGB Sapphire Boilers, Firebird and Navien, which means we can offer you extended warranties on many products.
