Some of the general plumbing services you might need us for include:
- General repairs and maintenance on your existing heating system
- Installing replacement radiators
- Full central heating installation including system design and heat loss calculations
- Installation of a new / replacement hot water cylinder
- Repair a faulty hot water cylinder
- Repair or replace leaky taps
- Leak detection and repair (we have specialist leak detection equipment that can help with this)
- Replacing broken WC-flush mechanisms (please note we are unable to work on blocked drains, but can pass you on to a local drains company)
- Install an outside tap
- Install isolation valves on existing outside taps to future frost damage
- Replace a failed expansion vessel
- Power flushing: This is a process of cleaning the central heating system to remove sludge and debris, which can improve the efficiency of the system and extend its lifespan. We use a KAMCO CF90 professional power flushing machine with magnetic filtration. For some properties with older or weaker pipework we may instead choose to carry out a mains water flush or use a Thorough Flush unit as a gentler alternative to a Power Flush.
